According to the Hindu calendar, this month will start from the Ashtami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapad month in Jyeshtha Nakshatra and will end on the Navami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month in Purva Ashadha Nakshatra. Pitra Paksha 2025:

Pitru Paksha will start in the month of September. The month of September will be very special from a religious point of view. Pitru Paksha will start in the early days of the month. This year, Pitru Paksha will start from 07 September and end on 21 September. Tarpan and Shradh rituals are performed for 15 days in Pitru Paksha to please the ancestors and for the peace of their souls. No auspicious work of any kind is done during Pitru Paksha. Shardiya Navratri 2025

Shardiya Navratri will start the very next day after the end of Pitru Paksha. Sharadiya Navratri will start from 22 September 2025. This time, Sharadiya Navratri will start on Monday, due to which Mother will come to Earth riding an elephant. Sharadiya Navratri will run from 22 September to 01 October. Nine different forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped on Navratri. On the first day of Navratri, along with Kalash Sthapana, bhajan-kirtan is done while reciting Durga Saptashati continuously for nine days.

Ghatasthapana will be done in Hasta Nakshatra on Pratipada

Sharadiya Navratri will start on Pratipada Tithi. Hasta Nakshatra has been seen since morning on this day. During this time, Kalash Sthapana is considered very auspicious. Along with this, Shukla Yoga is also being found throughout the day on this day.

There will be two eclipses in September. One of which will be a solar eclipse, and the other will be a lunar eclipse. The first total lunar eclipse will occur on September 7. According to the Hindu calendar, it will occur on the full moon date of the Shukla Paksha of the Bhadrapada month. Then, on September 21, 2025, the last partial solar eclipse of the year will occur. On this day, there will be an Amavasya date of the Krishna Paksha of the Ashwin month. According to Indian time, the eclipse will start at 10:59 pm and will end at 03:23 am.
