The planet of intelligence, wit, communication and writing skills i.e. Mercury is getting retrograde on January 14, 2022 and lasts until February 3, 2022 in the signs Aquarius and Capricorn for the first time in the year. This is, of course, an illusionary state caused by the position of Earth in relation to that of the planet, since a planet in orbit always moves in specified direction and can’t abruptly take reverse course. The dates of Mercury retrograde in the year 2022
January 14 to February 3- From January 14 to January 25, the retrograde will occur in the sign of Aquarius; from January 25 to February 3, it will shift into Capricorn.
May 10 to June 3- From May 10 to May 22, the retrograde will occur in Gemini; from May 22 to June 3, it will cross into Taurus.
September 9 to October 2- From September 9 to September 23, Mercury retrograde will be in Libra; from September 23 to October 2, it will be in Virgo.
December 29 to January 18, 2023 in Capricorn
We suggest you to mark these dates in your 2022 calendar, and plan for the year ahead. As we have already mentioned that Mercury retrograde is not completely bad and may prove somewhat chaotic for life.
