Navratri has special significance in Sanatan Dharma. During Navratri, nine forms of Goddess Durga are worshipped. Navratri is celebrated four times a year: one is Chaitra Navratri, the second is Sharad Navratri, and two are Gupt Navratri.
Gupt Navratri is considered very important for people who are engrossed in the practice of Tantra Mantra. This time, according to the Hindu calendar, the Gupt Navratri of the Ashadh month will begin this year.
This year, Ashadh Gupt Navratri is starting from 26 June and will end on 4 July. Devotees of Mata Rani worship various forms of Maa Durga during Gupt Navratri. On this day, devotees worship Maa Durga by staying without food or fruits. Kalash will be installed in the house and temple on the Pratipada date.
Gupt Navratri starting June 26, 2026, is a powerful and secretive spiritual window ideal for remedies to pacify malefic Rahu and Ketu, two shadow planets (Chhaya Grahas) known for causing sudden obstacles, illusions, fears, mental disturbance, and karmic turmoil.
