IPL or Indian Premier League is a domestic T20 league controlled by BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India). It was established in the year 2008 and IPL 2020 would be the 13th season of this league. There are eight major teams participating in this league for the current season. This league is based on a double round-robin group and an eliminator format in the playoffs. This means that each team will have a play-off with the other and a double-elimination would be held later on. The structure of IPL is based on teams from all the major Indian cities.
