He has however been practicing Astrology as a part-time venture for over 12 years having qualified as "JYOTISH VISHARADA" from Indian Council of Astrological Sciences (ICAS). Man is a part of the universe which in turn is a part of cosmos, hence any cosmos disturbance is bound to have its repercussions on human beings. It is on this premise that Mr. Alse bases his firm belief that planets have definite and tremendous influence on every aspect of human being from the time of conception in the womb. At the same time it must be borne in mind that this divine astrological science of prediction is indicative and not deterministic or fatalistic, the primary purpose being cautioning people of any possible danger awaiting, avoiding, pitfalls adopting suitable remedial measures and in a nutshell, maximizing one's life.

Mr. Alse had presented a paper in 1992 on discord, delay and denial in Marriage at the first All India conference on Astrology held at New Delhi, India. He was awarded the title of "JYOTISH KOVID" by ICAS in 1994 at the second All India conference on Astrology held at Pune in the state of Maharashtra, and the title of "VISHWAKARMA" on Vastu in 1995 at the All India Symposium on Vastu Shastra held at Bangalore, in the state of Karnataka, India. Mr. A. Narasimha Alse is called upon quite often to speak on various aspects of Astrology and Vastu Shastra in many forums. Currently, he teaches Vedic Astrology at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Bangalore, S. India being a senior faculty member there. He is also the secretary of the Bangalore Chapter of ICAS.
